Exciting times!
Some of you might be aware of a prophecy given by Shaun Boltz recently that, in essence, spoke to a significant shaking of the church and its people. Those who engage with the challenge of change will see their lives in Him expand; those who draw back from change may, or will, not.
It’s a message that resonates, and it’s more than a simple agreement with the platitude that those who stand still are actually moving backwards. I wander if there’s any of us reading this who are comfortable in thinking that they’ve reached the pinnacle of their lives, either in ministry or career, that they’ve achieved God’s purpose for them and that now’s the time to relax. If so, bless you…but I wonder if it’s time for a Godly shaking in preparation of the more.
Sozo for Couples is giving itself a shake too! In our last newsletter we told you about Relational Sozo and how we were working on a revised edition of the SfC manual to include this new area of ministry. It’s been interesting! We’re not sure if there’ll be those who want to add Relational Sozo to their tool-belt but who have no wish to minister Sozo for Couples, but we’ve had to take this into consideration, and of course the basic requirements then change. There’s no need, for example, to be married or to have been married to do a Relational Sozo, something, we hope, that will open the field to a potentially larger audience for this ministry. Having said that, the basic framework remains.
We’ll be including something on Relational Sozo in the online training we’re doing next month. If you’d like a refresher, have a team member or friend who’s interested in SfC, want your pastor to know about this ministry, are interested to find out more about Relational Sozo or just want to join friends for some good teaching the dates are:
17th, 24th, 31st January, 7th February 2023
And you can book at: https://sozoforcouples.org/events/
And, don’t forget our mentoring evening in just a few days’ time! 11th December at 7pm GMT
We’d love to hear from you! Please get in touch! And, Happy Christmas!
Blessings
